As always we slow down but remain steady during the summer months. This year has proven to be the same. It is nice to get a break from the fast pace of the fall and winter months but it seems like that is quickly coming to an end. We will soon be gearing up for a myriad of investigations and take out food. Red Bulls and other caffeine laden drinks will be consumed in an effort to keep up with the demand.

Hehe....I can't wait!

 

It's been a little over a month since I saw the shadow thingy that resembled a dog. I haven't seen that or anything like it since. There is still the occasional weird noise and knocking around. One thing that I did notice was that during the time I had the ionizer running the house was very quiet. No activity at all. Interesting. We have since turned it off to see if things "liven up" once again.

 

 

I saw something this morning as I took the trash out. My backyard was very dark but you could still make out some things. I noticed something darker than that of its surroundings.

It seemed to move off from left to right just before I turned the light on. I saw nothing once the light was on. It was approximately the size of a briefcase with a shape similar to an oval with no real defined edges.

Not sure what it could have been. Maybe a wicked fast black dog with no legs?

Genetics is not my friend when it comes to my venture in running. I have enjoyed myself thoroughly though and will continue to run "my race" as much as possible. My goal was to run my first 5k this Fall. I hit that goal back in March of this year. Since then, I have run 2 more 5k's with each one getting easier. I ran my first 4 mile event this past weekend. The next goal is to run a 10k and enter a triathalon next year! Not sure if that is doable but that's why it's called a goal!
